The Voluma® Difference

What to Expect with Voluma® Treatment
During your initial consultation with Dr. Galitzin, he will discuss your cosmetic goals with you and evaluate the treatment area to ensure you are a good candidate for Voluma®. Our injectable treatments are relatively painless; however, if you are concerned about pain or discomfort, a numbing cream can be applied prior to your treatment. Voluma® injections are performed by Dr. Galitzin in our office and take about 30 minutes to complete. A flexible cannula is used to inject Voluma®, which minimizes pain and bruising.
You will be able to return to your normal activities within 24 hours of your treatment. You may experience some tenderness, swelling, redness, bruising, or itching, but this will subside within two weeks.
